PC Rathband widow on agony of new drama

Kath Rathband’s life was shattered when her police officer husband David was shot and blinded by gunman Raoul Moat in 2010 and later tragically took his own life. After ITV announced they were to screen a three-part drama based on the police manhunt, Kath revealed her hurt that the family’s suffering was being dragged up again in the name of tv entertainment. DJM secured a two-page spread in The Sunday Mirror allowing Kath to tell her emotional story.
